Aloha from the Magic Isles of Maui

We're locked in the grip of winter on Maui.  Temperatures have plunged to our wintertime average of 80 or so vs. the typical summertime readings at 86 or 87.  We hunker down, close a window or two and break out the long-sleeve T-shirts.  Brrrrr....

This is a great time to grab a good book and some comfort food.  Just happens that our feature on the Best Restaurants on Maui, combined with this issues' recipes in our Chef's Corner, gives us some excellent menu ideas.

Winter is also a perfect time to schedule a Maui spa day or spend a long weekend in Hana, Lana'i or Moloka'i..  Check our review of Maui's Spas for your favorite treatments and our "Long Weekends In Hana, Lana'i and Moloka'i" for weekend itineraries.

Speaking of favorites, Getting Married In Style On Maui has all the do's and don'ts for those planning their "I do's."  See what Maui's wedding professionals have to say about  the five most fabulous wedding trends.

And, finally...our latest Favorite Maui Moment.  One family's picture perfect Maui day on and under the water.

A hui hou (until we meet again).
